This will be a 9-month secondment position for internal candidates. The role will involve managing operational disruptions, driving operational excellence and maintaining Amazon's high standards for quality, safety, and productivity within the Regional Operations Center. The role may also involve lead and developing a team of hourly associates as the program grows. More specifically with ROC, ROCaaS (ROC as a Service) is an organizational structure and service model offered to help non-ROC teams launch new programs and initiatives. ROCaaS provides the proximity to transportation business and the necessary organizational structure to enable these teams to "lift off" their new efforts. - Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience leading and managing a team - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint) - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience in operational logistics/supply chain, manufacturing, transportation, general management or an engineering role - Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
