About this Role
The Blue Kite Academy Trust has seen a period of significant growth and is currently responsible for 25 primary schools. As a central team we are committed to providing high quality support services to support the schools in the Trust.
The Trust is currently working through a procurement exercise for a fully integrated Payroll/HR system. This has led to a fixed term position of Payroll/HR Advisor becoming available within our busy HR team. The post is initially until 31 August 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join us to support on a wide range of activities including:
* Managing the payroll input and checking of monthly payrolls in conjunction with schools and our external payroll provider
* Dealing and responding to a range of payroll and HR queries from both school business managers, internal Trust colleagues and employees
* Producing and issuing accurate documents such as contracts of employment, contractual changes, annual salary statements and any other documents in a timely manner.
We are ideally looking for someone who has excellent working knowledge of payroll and HR administration as this will be a key focus of the role. You will:
* Have a good level of understanding of payroll processes and pension regulations
* Have generalist HR experience, ideally in an education setting
* Be a strong team player with a focus on working together to achieve results
* Be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, in order to deal tactfully and sensitively with people at all levels
* Be comfortable working in a rapidly changing organisation, with a flexible approach to new challenges.
We anticipate this to be a 37 hour per week, all year role. However, we are able to consider flexible working options and alternative patterns of work for this role and would be happy to explore that further with candidates. We are committed to offering flexible working options that meet the needs of the trust and offer our employees a good work/life balance.
If you believe you have the vision and commitment to join our team, then we would love to hear from you.
