Overview
Electrical Engineer role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. The role involves carrying out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, planned maintenance and repairs at Olbury power station. You must work to high levels of health and safety, understand and operate to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical safety checks and PAT testing.
* Perform planned maintenance and repairs in accordance with the preventative maintenance programme.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and building statutory regulations.
* Maintain records accurately using IT systems and contribute to customer service standards.
Qualifications
* Full, current UK driving licence; own transport to site.
* IT literate for record keeping; good customer service skills; physically able to perform duties.
* Background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector is preferred.
* Qualified to either Level 2/3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 18th Edition and 2391 Test and Inspect.
Employment details
* Hours: Monday to Thursday, 37.5 hours per week.
* Location: Bristol area (Olbury power station).
