Description:
Coordinates and completes all aspects of assigned survey field and office duties. Collaborates with other technicians and survey supervisors to ensure projects are completed correctly, on time, and within budget. Develops and advises supervisors on suggestions to improve efficiency.

Requirements:
Field Duties:
* Completes survey tasks using total stations, GPS, survey data collectors, and other equipment, ensuring proper data format and documentation.
* Understands project scope before starting work.
* Communicates daily with survey manager or project leader.
* Maintains accurate field notes.
* Reports problems or delays to survey supervisor.
* Checks control and points for positional accuracy.
* Follows safety procedures and uses proper safety equipment.
* Ensures safety and care of crew, vehicles, and equipment, and addresses project-related needs or contacts supervisor for assistance.
* Maintains professional appearance and ensures crew compliance.
* Trains and mentors junior technicians.
* Verifies field work meets standards.
* Performs other duties professionally.
Office Duties:
* Supports survey operations with CAD processing.
* Performs record research.
* Prepares reports from field data and performs CAD drafting.
* Performs additional assigned duties.
Physical/Other Requirements:
* Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
* Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Construction card and knowledge of safety procedures.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to stand, walk on rough terrain, and carry up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolds, and work in busy environments.
* Willingness to wear protective equipment as needed.
