About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Teacher to join our dedicated team supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with SEMH and moderate learning difficulties. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, personalised education to pupils working significantly below age-related expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ EHCP targets
* Creating a safe, predictable, and supportive classroom environment
* Collaborating closely with learning support assistants, therapists, and senior staff
* Monitoring pupil progress through formative and summative assessments
* Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals
* Contributing to the school’s holistic approach to SEND, behaviour support, and wellbeing
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
* Have experience working with pupils with SEND, either in mainstream or specialist settings
* Demonstrate strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and the SEND Code of Practice
* Be confident managing a personalised curriculum, including literacy, numeracy and life skills
* Show resilience, creativity, and a calm, student-centred approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
