Job Title: CNC Turning Programmer / Setter / Operator Location: Shipley Working Hours: Days - Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (45-minute lunch break) Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour (dependent on experience and skill level) The Role: Thrive Group are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced CNC Turning Programmer / Setter / Operator on behalf of our client based in Shipley. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components in line with technical drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines Working from engineering drawings to manufacture precision components Adjusting machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency Carrying out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet required standards Maintaining a clean and safe working environment About You: Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Programmer/Setter/Operator) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc/Siemens or similar desirable) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and hardworking What's in it for you: Competitive hourly rate with scope for progression 4-day working week (long weekends!)
