Safe Intelligence is on a mission to make AI safe and reliable for anyone to use. To help us succeed, our team is looking for our first sales hire, and we’re hoping it’s you!


In this role, you’ll play a key role in researching and reaching out to potential customers for the company. These will be large enterprises in key industries such as Aviation, Mobility, Robotics, Finance and Insurance that use Machine Learning for high-risk tasks. Your role will be to identify the right people to talk to, reach out to them and facilitate initial conversations to see if our team and product might help them.


The role is customer facing and will involve warm and cold outreach + some technical depth in conversations on complex topics. Success will enable you to grow with the company to more experienced roles in sales or other areas of the company. You’ll be surrounded by a team of experts who can help you level up fast to understand customer needs.


Experience of complex technical sales would be helpful, and previous knowledge of Machine Learning is a large plus.

Responsibilities: At Safe Intelligence you will:


* Identify and reach out to individuals and companies that build and operate high-stakes machine learning models in order to facilitate meetings.
* Work closely with those prospects to understand their ML models and help them determine if our products and services are right for them. Generally these will be R&D and product teams at customer organisations.
* Research markets, events and opportunities to reach prospects.
* Get involved in sales discussions, follow ups and, if desired, project delivery.
* Use your curiosity to build a detailed understanding of customer needs and how they could be met.


Requirements: The key requirements for the role are:


* Experiences that have helped you develop original thinking, problem solving.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a problem solving or research role that involved autonomous search and discovery.
* Ability and experience following a structured sales process.


In addition, highly valuable but not required:


* Hands-on technical experience of any kind, and machine learning in particular.
* Experience selling Machine Learning solutions or other highly technical products.
* Technical sales experience (e.g., as a sales engineer)
* A European language in addition to English
