Ph Water & Air Technologies are looking for a skilled and dedicated Lead Ventilation Hygiene Technician to join our team in the Midlands area. As a Lead Ventilation Hygiene Technician within our Air Division, you will be responsible for the inspection, cleaning, testing and maintenance of ventilation systems and fire dampers across commercial, industrial and residential properties. You’ll ensure systems are compliant, safe, and free from harmful contaminants, while reducing fire risk and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to our clients, completing detailed electronic reports, identifying system faults, and providing practical solutions. Working both independently and as part of a team, you’ll demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety. What you receive for joining us: We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holiday’s, company vehicle, a financial loyalty bonus and other benefits we’d be happy to tell you about. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: • Conduct thorough inspections, cleaning and maintenance of ventilation systems including ductwork, filters and kitchen extraction systems, ensuring removal of dust, grease, debris and microbial contaminants while identifying and reducing fire risks • Inspect, test, maintain and carry out necessary repairs to fire dampers, ensuring full functionality and compliance with industry regulations and health & safety legislation • Complete detailed electronic documentation and reports, maintain accurate service records, prepare RAMS where required, and ensure all works meet relevant H&S and industry standards • Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings and recommendations, troubleshoot system issues, use and maintain specialist equipment, and collaborate with team members to deliver projects efficiently Can you show experience in some of these areas? • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ventilation hygiene and fire damper testing, with strong technical knowledge of ventilation systems, cleaning techniques and fire damper testing procedures • Relevant industry certifications including CSCS, IPAF, PLASMA and Confined Space training, with the ability to work at height and in confined spaces • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and industry compliance standards, with a keen eye for detail and high-quality workmanship • Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication and customer service abilities, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, alongside a full UK driving licence Introducing our organisation: PH Water & Air Technologies: We excel as an integrated provider.
