This position is focused on helping GSK achieve our goals through transforming our Supply Chain Demand Planning function,
As a key member of our Supply Chain Tech Transformation team, you will focus on driving new Demand Planning capabilities, which deliver significant impact and value not only through inspiring next generation approaches but also helping to achieve results that allow us to make better & faster demand and supply decisions based on accurate data and respond quickly to changing supply and market conditions to achieve our business objectives.
As our Product Director Demand Planning you are accountable for driving the vision, strategy and product roadmap within the GSC business unit for all Global Demand Planning activities, covering various tools including advanced planning, decision intelligence and AI solutions.
Ensure that Agile standard operating model, ceremonies and culture are embedded within the product team ways of working.
Coach and develop your product team to become effective team members that only develop and ship valuable work, focused on data-driven decision making and customer centricity.
Coach your team in how to determine and understand your customer’s needs better than anyone, through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Rigorously apply the scientific method and lean start-up thinking to set hypotheses, design experiments, test assumptions and break-down complex problems into smaller chunks
Maintain high credibility and deliver real value by shipping product that make our users’ lives easier.
Act as a leader to enhance and elevate Product Management as a discipline within GSK Tech
Extensive experience in developing successful technology planning solutions, with experience in OMP preferably, but also SAP, 09, Aera, Kinaxis
Preferably experience in being part of a significant transformation programme
You have led teams that have developed successful Planning software products from concept to adoption - (Scale of between 3-10) in both direct and matrix organisation model.
You have a broad and detailed understanding of product management techniques including customer development, discovery & primary research, lean start-up method and industrialisation/scaling-up
You have enough technical knowledge to understand your team’s software products
Hybrid working applies to this role, expectation minimum 2 days per week onsite.
