Class 1 HGV Driver Location: North & South of Ireland and across the UK Pay Rate: £15.00 £17.50 per hour Job Type: Part-time and Full-time opportunities available About the Role We are a family-run business currently seeking reliable and motivated Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team. This role involves the delivery, relocation, and uplift of office furniture, specialist equipment, pallets, and parcels across Ireland and the United Kingdom. Deliveries and collections are often from the same job sites and local areas. Experience driving in the South of Ireland and the UK is desirable. Working Patterns Part-Time: 1 run per week Maximum of 2 overnight stays Approx. 3-day working week Full-Time: 12 runs per week Average of 34 overnight stays Approx. 45 day working week Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles Complete deliveries and collections in a timely and professional manner Load, organise, and secure goods to prevent damage during transit Carry out routine vehicle checks and ensure compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required paperwork Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally Physical Requirements The role involves manual handling and lifting, particularly when relocating office furniture and equipment Essential Skills & Qualities Strong organisational skills Good problem-solving ability Self-motivated and reliable Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently Requirements Valid HGV Driving Licence Up-to-date Driver CPC Benefits On-site parking Flexible holidays to be taken as desired Company pension scheme
