Project Managers & Engineers & Supervisors - Piping & Mechanical
Duties
* Management of mechanical, piping, fabrication and welding work.
* Ensuring materials, equipment and drawings are at the workplace.
* Completion of work safely, in line with QC specifications and drawings.
* Preparation and adherence to permits, risk assessments and method statements.
* Attending site safety and operations/progress meetings, liaising with client managers.
* Completing contract management reports and reporting to Senior Project Manager and Ops Director.
Qualifications
* SMSTS card ideally; if absent possession of OSH or NEBOSH & SSSTS.
* HND in Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, HVAC or Piping.
Type of Work
Management and supervision of installation of piping and mechanical systems on machinery, erection of fitting steel works and welding on a food factory site.
Additional Information
We are recruiting managers, supervisors, engineers and skilled and semi‑skilled applicants for various sites such as Kings Lynn, Wisbech, Cantley, Newark and other areas. Further work could be available for those prepared to travel and lodge away, with hotel and meal paid for by the company for 3 to 5 nights per week if sites are remote.
Hours of Work: 07:00‑17:00 Mon‑Fri; Sat 07:00‑15:30; Sun if required.
Contract: Perm role or 13‑26 week contract, with possibility of extension based on attendance, performance and workload.
Pay: Perm Roles £38,000‑42,000 or £43,000‑47,000 per annum. Contract Roles £32 per hour Mon‑Fri, £37 per hour Sat, £42 per hour Sun (depending on role and qualifications).
Location: Ideally living 10‑30 miles from site; willing to consider further travel with lodging. Hotel & meals paid when working away.
