This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dedicated team in a permanent capacity at a site in the LS14 area of Leeds. This setting is focused on providing bespoke educational pathways for its learners and prides itself on a culture of dignity, safety, and holistic support. You will be joining a collaborative staff body where administrative excellence is viewed as the backbone of successful student outcomes and smooth operational practice.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

*

Managing office procedures, handling the Headteachers diary, and coordinating bi:weekly SLT meetings.
*

Preparing detailed reports and assisting with business compliance, including preparation for ISI inspections.
*

Assisting with admissions procedures, managing EHCP placements, and ensuring smooth transitions for learners moving to new schools.
*

Building strong relationships with Local Authorities, business partners, and responding to parent enquiries with direction.
*

Handling sensitive learner data with total discretion and ensuring all safeguarding policies are strictly followed.
*

Supporting the HR team with onsite records, including staff attendance, training, and inductions.
*

Actively promoting mental health and wellbeing for pupils and colleagues while upholding professional boundaries and learner dignity.

Requirements

*

Proven administrative experience, ideally within a school or an educational/SEND environment.
*

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for minute:taking, report writing, and action plan circulation.
*

Highly proficient in office software and data management systems.
*

A master of multitasking with the ability to manage competing priorities for a Business Manager and Headteacher.
*

A deep understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to the mental health and safety of young people.
*

Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or hold one on the Update Service).
