The Role: We seek a Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join a reputable Real Estate Finance Partner in central London.
This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will have 6-12 months of prior experience as a property paralegal, either residential or commercial.
This position is based in our central London office with a hybrid working arrangement.
Day-to-day Duties:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* General administration and support
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Managing information and case management systems (electronic or hard copy)
* Assisting with file opening and financial management of matters
* Taking instructions from fee earners and providing updates
* Interacting with clients under supervision
* Managing case timelines and deadlines
* Handling plot sale transactions for developers
* Managing ownership transfers
* Filing SDLT Returns
* Conducting Land Registry searches and liaising with authorities
* Completing post-transaction administration, including Companies House and Land Registry filings
* Monitoring and responding to emails as necessary
* Preparing Lease Reports and document summaries
* Scheduling Title Deeds and related documents
Your Skills and Experience:
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Diligent, hardworking, and detail-oriented
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
* Team player willing to assist colleagues
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Strong academic background with a law degree or law conversion course completion
