About the Role
We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Continence Service within the Product Delivery Team. The Product Delivery Service is a specialist team that assesses and processes referrals for continence products and works closely with home delivery contract product suppliers and the Home Delivery Transport Team.
Responsibilities
* Support the provision of high‑quality bladder and bowel care for adults in Kent, mainly through the reassessment of product processes for the Kent Continence Service.
* Act as an advocate for patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction, adopting a person‑centred approach to ensure care meets NICE guidance and local eligibility criteria.
* Assist in assessing, authorising and processing product requests received via referrals from the Continence/Bladder & Bowel Service, Community Nursing Teams, Residential & Nursing Homes and other professionals.
Working Pattern
Full time / part time / shared hours with community nursing, covering Mon‑Fri 0800‑1700. Specify your preference on the application form.
