ROLE TITLE: Global Brand Manager, Pepsi Lipton

LOCATION: Kingston office, London

BUSINESS CONTEXT

Pepsi Lipton is a joint venture between Unilever and PepsiCo to manufacture and sell iced tea branded products around the world. Lipton Ice tea is globally the No1 Ready to drink Ice Tea, with a $ 3 bn turnover.

Tea RTD remains a massive growth opportunity globally, still only accounting for >5% of the LRB market and yet offering distinctive and on-trend tasty refreshment experiences. Building on tea's inherent goodness Pepsi Lipton leads for greater environmental wellbeing via an ambitious net zero goal, enhances mental wellbeing through its brand purpose, and improves physical wellbeing though significantly healthier products.

As an independent company in its own right, the joint venture has its own board of directors. As a global organization, the variation in countries, bottlers and manufacturing sites makes this a very exciting place to work. We have 5 regional organisations operating across the world: North America, Europe, LATAM, AMESA, and APAC. We are constantly breaking new grounds with new mixes launched into white markets.

Whilst we have the backing and support of our two parent companies, our entrepreneurial set-up gives us real autonomy. Our roles are broad, our responsibilities are big and our experiences even bigger with the opportunity to learn from the best talent of both companies. We have high visibility and great exposure to senior leadership and to talented colleagues all over the world. It means - all resources in the JV need to have powerful influential skills and be confident to operate independently. It as well means, that we are leaders responsible from the end-to-end business in a way that's just not possible at our parent companies.

So, if you want to really challenge yourself, and experience a whole new way of working with an entrepreneurial winning mindset, without leaving your parent company, this could be the perfect place to take your career to the next level.

Our ambition: unlocking talent through disability inclusion

The World Health Organization estimates that there are one billion people in the world currently living with a disability. That’s about 15% of the global population, or 1 in 7 of us. And the statistics suggest that people living with disabilities are among the most marginalised populations in the world in terms of employment and educational opportunity.

Removing the barriers facing people living with disability is a priority for our business. It isn’t just the right thing to do – we believe that creating equality of opportunity will unlock a huge pool of talent. It also gets to the heart of the ambition to ‘leave no one behind’ – and could contribute to the five Sustainable Development Goals which explicitly reference disability and to the wider sustainable development agenda.

In 2018, we set ourselves global commitments to achieve by 2025:

* to be the number one employer of choice for people with disabilities, and
* to increase the number of employees with disabilities to 5% of our total workforce.

These are ambitious targets. They involve transforming the way we recruit and train our people. And they mean adapting both the way we work and our workplaces, so that we can support people with disabilities to reach their full potential.

"We cannot be an inclusive organisation unless we ensure that we have created the conditions

and the culture for people with a disability to thrive."

We are keen to find out about your talent, and offer the support you need.
