Key Account Manager (Golf division) Location: Southampton, office based Salary: £40,000 per annum Car Allowance: £3000 per annum Excellent Benefits Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 17:30pm Purpose of the job To grow Garmin sales & distribution within our Key accounts, through building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships both internally and externally. Ensuring all stakeholders and departments are engaged to maximise sales within our Golf channel. Key Duties & Responsibilities To achieve agreed business aims and objectives including sales, costs, and profitability for designated key accounts, through efficient planning and prioritising personal sales activities such as customer visits, calls, events, and effectively managing customer and prospect contacts. To successfully carry out the agreed golf channel development strategy, working closely with the Sales Manager, by effectively planning and managing your key accounts/territory/stakeholders. To optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction by maintaining and developing existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sustainable and ethical sales methods To always have available up to date, relevant and accurate information on customers and prospects contacts and activities by creating and maintaining a database. Ensure all necessary members of your designated key accounts are fully trained on relevant Garmin products by visiting stores and premises, and through regular conversations with key staff. Work closely with the regional sales team to help support with call cycles, and training requirements. Ensure Garmin products are correctly displayed at point of sale, in line with Virtual merchandising guidelines. Work with your Key accounts to ensure brand guidelines are being upheld and communicated to stores. Provide insight into market segments/trends/customers and feedback to the wider team through competent and thorough analysis using all available information. (Sales out information, market share data, market publications, trade events). To aid business development and support excellent customer relations by attending and presenting at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions, building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships internally Keep relevant Garmin knowledge and skills up to date by attending internal and external training sessions, online events and other knowledge sharing activities Support on going sales by establishing and maintaining good working relationship with our key accounts and partners. Education & Experience Sales & Marketing experience Experience as an existing Executive or Key Account Manager Experience in the golf sector Personal or professional passion for Golf Full drivers licence Educated to A level or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft office suite Strong commercial acumen
