We are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join our team at our Kevington Midlands Factory in Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 6BH.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and promote effective communication of Company, Factory and team plans and focused implementation to achieve defined objectives.
* People management: motivate and develop the team through performance reviews to ensure delivery of objectives through teamwork.
* Apply the Ibstock Manufacturing system rigorously to deliver continuous improvement across all manufacturing areas.
* Implement and adhere to all Company and Factory control procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements in Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality.
* Collect, assimilate and analyze production and process data, using insights to develop and achieve key targets.
* Develop systems and standards to deliver world‑class housekeeping using the 5S principles.
* Procure production materials, goods and services within defined areas of the production environment.
* Maintain effective interdepartmental liaison to achieve defined objectives.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record in a continuous manufacturing environment at the level advertised or above.
* High degree of self‑motivation.
* Ability to self‑manage and adjust to changing business needs.
* Able to understand, accept and achieve targets and deadlines.
* Demonstrable organisational skills, including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures.
* Leadership and people‑management skills, capable of building, motivating, developing and improving the team.
* Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem‑solving techniques.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all departments and levels of the business.
