Role Overview The successful candidate will join an existing accounts team of 10 staff based at our Headquarters in Ballyclare and involves responsibility for a range of duties as outlined below. This is a full-time, office based, position working 37.5 hours per week with flexibility required to meet deadlines as applicable. About The Role Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Continuous review and improvement of internal controls for financial processes covering the entire Order to Cash cycle and Purchase to Pay cycle - Responsible for financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders - Oversight of VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat processes and reporting - Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for a number of Group entities - Stock reconciliations and assisting in stock control and reporting - Take a lead role in coordinating the annual audit process including preparation of lead schedules, oversight of key reconciliations, consolidation and acting as the key point of contact for auditors for all Group sites and Companies - Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement within the finance function, via regular system and process reviews to aid efficiencies and accuracy of financial information - Ad hoc duties commensurate with the position Required Criteria Be fully qualified (ACCA) or part qualified with at least 5 years experience Have a background of working in practice or internal audit preferably with some experience of also working in industry either full time or as a secondment/placement Have previous experience of focusing on year end audit and statutory compliance Possess excellent general IT skills and experience of using accounts packages Advanced level experience of Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting Possess strong analytical skills Be self motivated and enthusiastic Possess a diligent and proactive approach towards work and a desire to thrive in an expanding business Be of a questioning and investigative nature possessing strong critical thinking and analytical skills Have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and liaise well with staff at all levels across the business Possess a proactive and flexible working approach to meet the needs of the business Have the ability and willingness to work as part of a team Have the ability to pay attention to detail and solve problems efficiently Have the drive and determination to complete work efficiently on time Have strong organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to structure work load efficiently Be willing to accept change and have the ability and flexibility to adapt accordingly as business needs require Skills Needed Audit Compliance, Financial Analysis for Decisions, Financial Reporting, Managing Financial Risk About The Company Join the Dennisons Team: A Legacy of Excellence in Commercial Vehicles Dennisons, a family of businesses united in offering superior services in the commercial vehicle industry, invites you to become part of our story.
