Overview
Site Communications Placement (12 months) at Airbus Defence and Space. Start date: 20 July 2026. Location: Stevenage. Duration: 12 months.
What you will be doing
* Developing content for internal communications including sourcing content for articles and writing engaging stories for employees;
* Creating presentations and audiovisual material;
* Organising events for customer visits and employee communications;
* Contributing ideas for overall UK communications campaigns and monitoring KPIs.
Requirements
* Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. It is mandatory to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.
* Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.
* Studying towards a degree in Marketing Communications, Media, Digital Communications, Public Relations and Communications;
* General computer literacy, including MS Office and Google Suite;
* Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with people at different levels;
* Ability to work well in a collaborative environment;
* Committed individual with demonstrated experience of working under pressure to tight schedules is desirable.

* Salary: £23,850
* 37 hours per week; Flexible working hours; Hybrid working; Half day Fridays;

Security clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
