Manufacturing Technician | £30,000 Benefits A fast-paced, well-established manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Didcot to support production, troubleshoot issues on the line and help keep manufacturing running efficiently day-to-day. Looking for somebody with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to get involved. The role would suit somebody from a manufacturing, assembly, production or electromechanical background who enjoys practical problem solving and working closely with people on the shop floor. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will: * Work on assembly and production support activities * Troubleshoot issues as they arise on the line * Wiring, soldering and mechanical assembly work * Follow engineering drawings and work instructions * Support testing and quality checks * Work closely with engineers and production staff Skills required from the Manufacturing Technician: * Manufacturing or production environment experience * Assembly or electromechanical work experience * Soldering, wiring or crimping skills * Testing, rework or troubleshooting skills * Working from technical drawings/instructions The company are very open to training and developing the right person, so this does not need to be a fully formed “plug-and-play” technician.
