Our client is a fast-growing dust & fume extraction company based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. As a forward-thinking organisation with a steadily expanding customer base, they are now looking to recruit a CAD Technician due to retirement within the team.
The Role
The CAD Technician is responsible for producing accurate technical drawings for live contracts, using information from site surveys and contract documentation. This role supports both the contracts and installation teams by ensuring drawings are clear, buildable, and issued on time.
This is a practical, detail-driven role, working closely with Contracts Engineers and Installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce contract and installation drawings using AutoCAD
2. Convert site survey information into accurate, buildable drawings
3. Update drawings to reflect revisions, site changes, and client feedback
4. Ensure drawings are issued in line with contract programmes
