The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and hardworking Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated lunchtime support team. Duties will include: Supervising children in the dining room, playground and classroom to provide a secure and happy environment for children at lunchtime Organising games and activities Monitoring and encouraging positive behaviour and relationships, effectively managing any incidents Promoting good table manners and social skills, Administering basic first aid (the successful candidate will be required to complete a one day first aid course) Assist with setting up, clearing away and cleaning of the dinner hall and other areas. The successful candidates will: have experience of supervising children, through either work-related experience or as a parent or carer be enthusiastic and have a willingness to encourage and play with our children have a calm and caring disposition have good interpersonal and communication skills have the ability to work well as part of a group be committed to making lunchtimes a safe, enjoyable experience for our children. be willing to undertake training The start date is 2nd February 2026 but sooner if possible.
