More information is available on our Career site at www.fife.gov.uk/jobs/supportingstatement Job Details We have an exciting opportunity available to work with the Council’s Digital Skills and Learning team within Human Resources (HR). This is an ideal opportunity if you are motivated to develop a career in learning and development, with a focus on digital skills. We welcome applications from anyone wishing to work flexible hours as the working hours can be spread over different days. The post holder will have the opportunity to work with our learning advisors to assist with the design, development and implementation of a range of digital learning solutions This particular post will be involved with: - Communications and publicity of the digital knowledge development opportunities available to Council employees including creating newsletters and news items for our intranet Assisting the team with the Learning management system, including dealing with queries and managing and maintaining the system Becoming involved with developing and delivering short training sessions / training videos on Microsoft and Oracle ERP topics As a progressive employer, we offer the opportunity to work in this role as a “blended working” arrangement with homeworking opportunities and occasional office-working as required. While the significant part of the role can and will be carried out remotely, candidates should be able to travel to and attend office locations in Fife as required. The Person You will have a range of existing digital skills covering Microsoft and / or Oracle ERP. It is a bonus if you have some experience using a wider range creative media tools. You should have proven experience of creating publicity materials and training guides. You will have previous experience of successfully passing on your digital skills to others, which can come from within work, your educational experiences or personal experiences out with work. We are looking for someone who is approachable, positive, creative, and accountable with the ability to build good working relationships. The post will involve time working at home or without other team members within the office, so you must demonstrate self-motivation and an ability to work with a minimum of supervision You will be educated to SCQF level 7 or above. Preferably in a subject relating to digital and / or learning.
