Summer Scheme Leaders - Leisure (Temporary Summer Roles) Lisburn & Carryduff, Belfast Area PAYE: £14.13 per hour Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Temporary Summer Scheme Roles (July-August 2026) Full-time and part-time hours available depending on centre 2 positions available Hatched Recruitment are currently supporting Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council in the recruitment of Summer Scheme Leaders to support the delivery of engaging, safe and structured summer programmes for children and young people across multiple leisure sites. These roles are ideal for confident, enthusiastic individuals with experience in supervising staff and working with children in a leisure, community or education environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support summer scheme assistants and staff teams Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate and safe activity programmes Ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment at all times Communicate effectively with staff, management and parents Organise staff cover and support daily operational needs Maintain accurate records including attendance, incidents, injuries and illness Work collaboratively as part of a wider leisure services team Essential Requirements: Experience working with children or young people Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to organise and deliver safe, engaging activities Good teamworking skills and a proactive attitude Ability to maintain accurate records and follow procedures Must be eligible to work in the UK Enhanced Access NI check required Additional Information: Two roles available across Lisburn Leisure Park and Carryduff sites Summer schemes run across July and August 2026 (site-specific rota patterns apply) Mandatory training days must be attended prior to scheme start This is a busy, rewarding role supporting community leisure provision during the summer period If you're passionate about working with children and creating a fun, safe and engaging summer environment, we'd love to hear from you.
