Location:North East (Office-based with hybrid working available after full CAS status)
Salary:£27,500 basic (rising to £30,000 upon full CAS)

About the Company:
We are working with one of the North Easts leading and most successful mortgage brokers by volume. This firm is growing and seeking a driven Mortgage & Protection Consultant to join their expanding customer team. The role offers the chance to work with warm, existing clients, focusing on advice, relationship-building, and maximising protection opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising existing clients on mortgage and protection solutions
* Managing your own pipeline from enquiry through to completion
* Delivering compliant, high-quality sales
* Submitting your own applications while the in-house team handles case progression and compliance
* Maximising protection opportunities with a strong conversion focus
What Were Looking For:
* CeMAP 1 qualified (CeMAP 2 & 3 desirable)
* Previous mortgage advisory experience
* Self-starter who can work independently and manage their own workload
* Strong focus on protection sales and excellent customer outcomes
* Flexibility to work 5 days across a 7-day rota
Desirable Skills:
* Experience managing a mortgage client pipeline
* Ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
