Job Description We’re recruiting for a Client Onboarding Executive who will be responsible for onboarding new fund mandates, managing account change events and providing day-to-day and strategic support to Client Onboarding Managers within the team. The Client Onboarding Team provides a dedicated end-to-end onboarding and change management service within LGIM’s Client Service Operations team, supporting the full range of product structures and investment services offered by the company. The team is responsible for co-ordinating all take-on/change related Operational tasks and activities spanning the breadth of the business to ensure the timely and comprehensive onboarding of fund/client objectives. Due to the continued growth of the business, a widening of the team’s remit, there is a need to resource the team to effectively support the business’s servicing requirement. What you'll be doing: Providing a Project Management service and taking accountability for delivering events for new and existing client mandates across the range of product vehicles (pooled and segregated) within LGIM Leading the project from the pitch through to full implementation, acting as an internal ‘implementation consultant’ to the client relationship management team, demonstrating technical ability and understanding and an awareness of the client’s decision making process and investment objectives Co-ordinating the end-to-end implementation of new client mandates across the business, e.g., obtaining business approval of fund operating documentation, setting up accounts, identifying and seeking solutions to non-standard requirements, and preparing the legal and operational groundwork for implementing changes to existing client mandates Communicating effectively both internally and externally on the progress of onboarding work, holding regular working group meeting sessions with key stakeholders to monitor and manage progress Providing a Project Management service and taking accountability for delivering the operational elements of events for new and existing fund structures, working closely with partners across the organisation to ensure successful implementation of any new functions transitioned to the team, and helping define the procedures and processes for this function as it transitions to the Client Onboarding team Developing a clear understanding of the function of all business areas within LGIM, building and maintaining an effective network of strong working relationships within those areas Acting as an inward and outward facing ‘onboarding consultant’, demonstrating technical ability and understanding, and an awareness of the client’s decision-making process and investment objectives. Communicating and mapping key onboarding milestones as necessary to manage and guide expectations Rigorously applying and, where applicable, designing and implementing business processes and procedures to support a risk-controlled and compliant environment within an effective governance framework.
