The Opportunity
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a
Management Accountant
to join our client's finance department during a period of modernisation and transformation. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in shaping the way the business delivers financial information - moving from "business as usual" accounting towards an

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver
month-end reporting packs
for internal and external stakeholders.
* Produce
departmental spend reports
, analysing budget vs. forecast variances.
* Manage
group financial reporting
across multiple businesses.
* Support statutory audits and contribute to tax analysis.
* Carry out
balance sheet reconciliations
, overhead accruals, and prepayment calculations.
* Oversee working capital and treasury reporting.
* Manage fixed asset capitalisation policies and related reporting.
* Ensure accurate accounting for rebates, exchange gains and losses.
* Identify, develop, and implement
process improvements
and
reporting enhancements
.
* Support the wider team in upgrading systems and modernising processes (Dynamics365 experience beneficial).
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), or finalist actively studying towards qualification.
* Strong technical grounding in
financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis
.
* Experience of group consolidations, statutory reporting, and audit.
* A process-focused mindset, with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
* Excellent communication skills, with confidence in influencing and working across teams.
* A proactive, collaborative approach and strong attention to detail.
* UK resident
with
