Job Summary
As a CAMO Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring of all aircraft maintenance activities to ensure continued airworthiness in compliance with EASA/CAA regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain short-term and long-term maintenance plans for the fleet.
* Ensure compliance with all airworthiness requirements,
* Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities with maintenance providers and internal departments.
* Manage the planning and tracking of component life limitations and aircraft maintenance forecasts.
* Ensure all maintenance is carried out within regulatory timelines and standards.
* Maintain and update aircraft technical records and maintenance planning systems
* Prepare work packages, job cards, and materials forecast for upcoming maintenance events.
* Support audits, reviews, and internal quality assurance programs.
Requirements
Essential:
* Proven experience in CAMO maintenance planning.
* Strong understanding of commercial aircraft maintenance planning.
* Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of AOC operations.
* Familiarity with aviation regulations (EASA, UK CAA, UK Military, FAA).
* Understanding of ISO standards (9001, 45001, 14001, 27001).
* Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS).
