Overview
HR Business Partner role at TipTopJob, Worcestershire, United Kingdom. Location: Redditch. Salary: GBP 50,000. Hours: Full-time, on-site, Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:30 and Friday 07:30 – 12:30. This is a 6-month FTC in a busy manufacturing environment, working directly with shop floor teams to deliver hands-on people management support.
Responsibilities
* Act as the on-site HR presence within one of two manufacturing units.
* Manage attendance, absence, holidays, and payroll accuracy.
* Conduct return-to-work meetings, disciplinaries, and employee relations cases.
* Coordinate onboarding, induction, and probation reviews.
* Maintain HR systems and training records, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
* Provide visible, approachable HR support on the shop floor and to management.
What we're looking for
* Proven HR experience in manufacturing, logistics and distribution, or similar industrial settings (2+ years).
* Strong background in hands-on employee relations, absence management, and supporting weekly payroll.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
* Approachable, pragmatic, and confident dealing with both line managers and shop floor colleagues.
* Able to work independently and hit the ground running.
