We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our care home, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces
* Clean and sanitise bathrooms, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
* Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored safely after use
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines
* Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises
Experience
* Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial but training will be provided for those new to the field
