We’re recruiting a Domiciliary Care Team Leader to support and oversee care delivery across our care and community services, working predominantly from Knightwood while supporting mews apartment services in Alton, Knightwood, Stildon, Otterbourne, and The Old Parsonage. You’ll provide hands‑on leadership, rota oversight, and professional guidance to care teams — ensuring safe, consistent, person‑centred support for the people we care for.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager, leading care assistants, mentoring new and existing staff, and acting as a role model for best practice. You’ll support integrated working across our care hubs and residential homes, helping promote continuity of care, independence, and wellbeing while reducing social isolation for older people in the community.

Up to £17.50 per hour (£30-35K FTE)
36 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with the candidates flexibility to cover weekends and evenings when needed

This role is ideal if you:
· Hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification· Are confident administering medication and understanding care standards, safeguarding, and CQC requirements· Have experience leading or supervising care staff within domiciliary care services· Must live within a commutable distance of Knightwood Care Home in Chandlers Ford and be willing to travel across services in Hampshire and West Sussex.
· Enjoy mentoring others and developing strong, confident care teams· Bring experience in person‑centred care planning for older adults· Are comfortable coordinating rotas and managing workloads across multiple services· Have strong IT skills, including digital care systems and e‑MAR· Communicate confidently with families, GPs, social workers, and internal teams· Hold a full UK driving licence and enjoy a varied, mobile leadership role
Desirable:· CHaPs qualification or equivalent· Experience supporting people living with dementia
