Description Join our dynamic Photo Studio team as a Retouch Assistant on a 12 month contract! You will support our in-house retouching teams, playing a vital part in delivering high-quality imagery across the NEXT family of websites. This fast-paced role is based at our Buzz studio, with a starting salary of £24,560. About the Role: As a Retouch Assistant, your primary focus will be supporting the studio in delivering imagery that meets the highest quality standards for the NEXT customer, aligning with our creative direction and brand principles. You will take direction from your Team Lead, assisting the wider retouching teams and the repro team by providing necessary resources and support. A key aspect of this role is preparing image assets for retouching, which includes accurately pathing all our imagery, assisting with colour checking and retouching basic product images for the website This role requires a proactive and dedicated individual who is eager to learn and develop their skills quickly. You must be able to remain calm, professional, and maintain a positive attitude, even in a high-pressure environment. It is essential that you communicate effectively within the studio to ensure images are available for retouching, and that you work collaboratively with all studio members. You must also be flexible, as there may be requirements to work at other NEXT studios, external studios, or on location. To succeed in this position, you must be a strong team player with exceptional communication skills, focused and driven, with the maturity and empathy to take direction well. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with your Team Lead and other team members is crucial for establishing clear, achievable goals. About you: Knowledge of retouching techniques and image retouching practices. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop software. High competence using MAC Operating systems. General skills in accurate colour correction using both physical and digital swatches. Excellent attention to detail. A strong communicator and active listener. Full UK driving licence
