Call Centre Administrator – Hertford | £26,000 + Review After 6 Months
We are seeking a confident Call Centre Administrator to join a friendly, family‑run business based in Hertford. This company provides nationwide plumbing, heating and drainage engineer call‑out services, and you’ll play a vital role in supporting customers from the first phone call through to job completion.

The Role
As a Call Centre Administrator, you will handle inbound customer calls, understand the issue, and arrange an engineer to attend. You will manage the customer journey end‑to‑end, following clear processes and delivering an excellent service every time.
Key responsibilities include:
* Taking inbound calls and identifying customer requirements
* Scheduling and allocating engineers to jobs
* Preparing and sending quotes and final invoices
* Taking payments over the phone
* Providing clear communication and customer updates throughout
* Working to procedures to ensure smooth service delivery
You will work 5 shifts per week, including one weekend day. Shifts are 9 hours and start between 8am – 11am, and optional overtime is available.

* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, phone‑based environment
* Organised, able to multitask and follow processes
* Previous call centre or customer service experience is preferred (full training provided)
