Teaching Assistant - Year 3 / KS2
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Pay: £13.75 per hour (paid weekly)
Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support in English, Maths, and wider curriculum subjects.
* Assist with classroom management, organisation, and displays.
* Deliver targeted interventions to support learning and progress.
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion for all pupils.
* Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements
* Must hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (or childcare-related equivalent).
* Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and strategies to support learning.
* Experience of working with pupils in Key Stage 2 is desirable.
* A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
* Able to work well as part of a team and follow school policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
