Leicestershire Nutrition and Dietetic Service (LNDS) have a vacancy for a permanent Dietetic Support Worker to join our community hospital dietetics service in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR), working for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
Leicester Nutrition and Dietetic Service has a team of approximately 90 staff, made of dietitians, community nutritionists and dietetic support workers, covering the population of LLR.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to work across community hospitals, supporting dietitians in delivering high-quality dietetic care to adult inpatients within ward settings. You will be part of a welcoming and supportive team, contributing to patient care and supporting their nutritional needs.

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
We are seeking a motivated Dietetic Support Worker with strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be assigned specific community hospital sites, which may be located within both the City and County areas. Applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car during working hours.
The service is committed to CPD and personal development and we have good clinical supervision models and in-house CPD in place to support you. The service is involved in the pre-registration placements for student dietitians undertaking A, B and C placements.
