Location: Home Based with National Travel
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00

What You Will Do
* Accountable for the development, implementation and delivery of energy and sustainability strategies aligned to client drivers and contract solutions.
* Produce the Carbon/Net Zero Transition Plan identifying activities to reduce consumption and emissions across the estate.
* Develop an Environmental Management Plan integrating other plans with industry best practice and accreditation.
* Develop and deliver Building and BMS Optimisation within the EUK Carbon Transformation and Asset Dynamics solutions.
* Own the Energy Bureau solution including billing, validation, forecasting, reporting, benchmarking and payment.
* Conduct annual reviews of estate performance against Environmental Plans and building specifications.
* Drive efficiencies across the client estate to meet and exceed targets.
* Develop energy and sustainability reporting against account targets, including trend analysis and use of specialist software.
* Align reductions within the LCAM approach as part of Asset Dynamics to capture carbon and energy considerations in replacement/investment cycles.
* Prepare and present credible performance reports on consumption trends, progress against targets, and opportunities.
* Optimise operating efficiency of assets, systems and subsystems across the portfolio.
* Develop site-specific carbon reduction pathways with quantified opportunities to net zero.
* Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and internal teams.
* Develop strategies and plans into working projects meeting client and internal objectives and capital investment programming.
* Keep knowledge up to date on technologies, processes and legislation related to energy, carbon and environmental agendas.
* Promote energy and environmental sustainability awareness with focus on waste avoidance and consumption reduction.
* Ensure compliance with management systems (ISO 14001 & 50001) including audits and corrective actions.
* Manage technical programmes of work involving subcontractors, external consultants, and EMCOR UK staff.
* Support Small Works, Revenue and Capital Project delivery with input on scoping and option generation.
What You Will Need
* Proven ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, supply chain partners, and customers.
* Strong communication, writing, and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects with minimal direction.
* Bachelor’s degree in Building Services/Energy Engineering or demonstrably equivalent experience.
* Experience in Energy Management within complex, asset-rich environments.
* Experience in energy markets, contract negotiations, renewable energy development and generation technologies.
* Technical expertise in implementing energy solutions and in developing partnerships with enterprise companies and green funding options.
* Ability to evaluate new business models and policies for energy, cleantech, or sustainability initiatives.
* Experience working with utilities, global energy companies, and OEMs; familiarity with energy software and cloud tools.
* Ability to provide authoritative energy management advice and promote best practices.
* IT literacy including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Smartsheets and Visio.
* Strong organisational and presentation skills; capable of building creative value-based solutions.
* Understanding of HVAC, refrigeration and lighting concepts; knowledge of BMS and control theory.
* Competency in benchmarking, data analysis and costed energy efficiency proposals.
* Ability to build business cases for new techniques, solutions or technologies; FM industry experience desirable.
* Knowledge of EMS & EnMS requirements (desirable).
Other Factors
* Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
* National Security Clearance should be held or obtainable.
