About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with proven expertise in NEC3 and NEC4 contracts to join our team in Peterborough. Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of cost control, from initial estimates through to final accounts.
* Administer and manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
* Prepare valuations, variations, and interim applications for payment.
* Provide accurate forecasting, cash flow, and cost reporting.
* Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
* Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on budget and within contractual frameworks.
* Support dispute resolution and claims processes where necessary.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience.
* Demonstrable experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
* Strong commercial acumen and cost management skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
* Previous experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects desirable.
