Position: Head of Sales
Package: £80, – £90, + Benefits
Location: Manchester (hybrid | circa 3 days in the office)
Lime Talent is supporting an established, fast-growing business in the personal care category to hire a Head of Sales. This is a senior commercial role with full ownership of UK retail channels and a key voice on the leadership team.
The business is privately owned and well-positioned for further growth. They’ve built strong foundations across grocery and high street retail, and are now looking for a commercially minded Head of Sales to take their business to the next level.
Key responsibilities:
1. Own and execute the UK retail sales strategy across grocery, high street, and other relevant accounts
2. Develop strong commercial partnerships with key retailers, leading JBP negotiations and strategic planning
3. Lead and manage a small but capable commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture
4. Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure plans are aligned and deliverable
5. Use data and insight to identify new opportunities and optimise account performance
6. Represent the brand externally in a professional and values-led way
Ideal candidate profile:
7. Strong track record of success in UK retail sales within FMCG
8. Previous experience managing high street and grocery customer relationships and leading negotiations
9. Comfortable in a hands-on environment – you’ll need to be both strategic and operational
10. Confident working closely with the SLT and contributing to wider business planning
11. Ideally some category understanding of the personal care category
