Multi Trade Operative - South Cornwall We are working with a busy and well liked maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Multiskilled Operative who will provide a maintenance service on domestic properties in the bottom end of Cornwall. You will be doing reactive maintenance work on social housing properties, dealing with customers, making them feel at ease and providing a top trades service. You must be able to do all aspects of maintenance work in multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting and patch plastering. You will start this role on a temp basis being paid PAYE through us for 12 weeks and then go into a permanent role with the client direct on the books. Salary when you go onto a permanent contract will be around £35,000 per annum van fuel card and benefits. Multiskilled Operative Day to Day: Going to various properties to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance work Completing a variety of works in various trades Tiling, carpentry, minor plumbing, decorating etc. Driving a company van safely Reporting to your supervisor Using a tablet or mobile to log your work Driving to various properties in south Cornwall Multiskilled Operative Requirements: Plumbing or Carpentry trade is desired for this role but we will look at other trade specialisms or a general multi trade.
