As a Junior UX Researcher you’ll work with our Financial Crimes UX Research team to contribute to the development of applications in AML and Sanctions technologies. Working with UX Design, Product, Business (Compliance) and Engineering colleagues, you’ll apply your expertise to generate and leverage a wide variety of research methods to ensure product direction is based on solid a foundation of user research.
Responsibilities
* Co-lead a wide variety of research including user interviews, co-creation, journey mapping, usability and concept tests and surveys, ensuring that actionable results are delivered and shared
* Contribute to designing and executing research studies that follow research best practices and methodologies
* Work with fellow UX Researchers to present and communicate research results and recommendations to stakeholder teams and the larger organization when needed
* Collaborate and share research findings and insights across the organization
* Provide guidance and rigor around research methodologies and best practices
* Contribute to defining relevant metrics for benchmarking and measurement of journeys
* Integrate research insights with quantitative data to inform deep understanding of client journeys as well as data-driven prioritization
* Understand existing and planned Citi Infrastructure and projects, and work on solutions that can be implemented in a timely manner, to make measurable impact
* Apply a positive and constructive attitude to all feedback.
* Work closely with UX Designers to ensure they have all the details they need to generate detailed UX designs.
* Participate in the wider Functions UX community of practice.
Required Experi e nce and Competencies
* Relevant UX research experience in a highly regulated industry and B2B or enterprise setting
* Extensive hands-on experience leading both qualitative and quantitative research studies across the Design Thinking stages
* Experience leading and conducting generative and evaluative user research
* Co-lead design thinking workshops
* Creative problem solver comfortable dealing with uncertainty
* Self-starter with the ability to define goals and strategies
* Able to combine strategic thinking with pragmatism without sacrificing quality
* Proactive and positive attitude, with strong attention to detail & analytical skills
* Outstanding written and oral communication skills
* Familiarity with research tools e.g EnjoyHQ, Qualtrics, Figma / Figjam
* Bachelor’s/University degree
