Under the supervision of a Pharmacy Technician and/or a Pharmacist, you will rotate through Pharmacy Dispensary services, Chemotherapy services, Distribution services and work at ward level to provide Medicines Management services as required, depending on the site.
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs at grades 4‑9, including Maths, English language and 1 Science subject.
* For apprenticeships only: must be aged 16 years or over, live in England, have eligible residency status with the right to work in England and not be enrolled in another government funded programme.
* Full training and support within the workplace, coupled with studying towards an accredited Level 3/4 qualification, will provide the necessary practical skills and knowledge to meet the initial education and training standards for Pharmacy Technicians set by the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Apprenticeship Details
* This is a 2‑year Fixed‑term / Secondment, rotational training post within each operational area of the Pharmacy department.
* Depending on the site, duties may include Dispensing Services, Chemotherapy Services, Logistics Services and completing Medicines Management Services at ward level.

Salary and Term
Salary depends on previous NHS service. Candidates with no previous NHS service: AFC Band 4 Annex 21 – 70% of a Band 4 in Year 1, rising to 75% in Year 2. Candidates with continuous NHS service: salary to be confirmed under the terms of Annex 30. There may be an expectation for the successful candidate to work at any Trust site.
