PSV Mechanic – Heathrow Airport
Salary: Up to £53,000 p/a (DOE) – Salary review after 3 months
Shifts: 4 on / 4 off – 06:00–18:00
Location: Heathrow Airport
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established service provider at Heathrow Airport, delivering a range of essential transport and vehicle support services at Heathrow, including staff shuttle operations, airside passenger bussing and specialist vehicle services.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated PSV Mechanic to join their expanding team.
PSV Mechanic Key Responsibilities
Maintenance, servicing and repair of 8–52 seater PSV vehicles
Conduct diagnostic work and fault finding
Carry out mechanical, electrical and bodywork repairs as required
Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and airport standards
Support the wider maintenance team in ensuring maximum vehicle uptime
PSV Mechanic Candidate Requirements
Level 3 Mechanical Qualification (or Level 2 with relevant time-served hands-on experience)
Full UK driving licence — PCV licence preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Experience working on public service vehicles or similar large commercial vehicles
Electric Vehicle experience and/or training is highly beneficial
Must be able to pass a full airside background check, including 5-year referencing and a clean, basic DBS check
