Hub Coordinator - Midlands
Marie Curie UK is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We support people in their homes and communities with compassionate care and emotional support across the Midlands region. This role sits in our Midlands coordination hub, supporting Marie Curie nurses and healthcare assistants by coordinating referrals and care bookings, and ensuring accurate data entry across operational and clinical systems.
What You Will Be Doing
* Lead and support the referral process from GPs, hospitals, district nurses, and companions.
* Handle incoming referrals via phone and email across the Midlands.
* Manage multiple mailboxes and enter data into three main systems.
* Book visits with patients and families for Marie Curie services.
* Collaborate with senior nurses to coordinate care delivery.
* Field a variety of calls, often under pressure and in emotionally sensitive situations.

* Excellent customer service and call handling experience
* An understanding of the healthcare environment
* Strong computer literacy and experience using multiple systems
* A team player with resilience, empathy, and a calm approach
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

Job Details
* Permanent; Full time; 37.5 hours per week
* Shifts: 08:00–22:00 (8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.)
* Workdays: Monday to Sunday (including bank holidays)
* Location: Hybrid – Remote and on-site at Northampton or West Midlands Hospice
* Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2: £24,465 Per Annum
Location
Midlands region, with hybrid arrangement; on-site at Northampton or West Midlands Hospice as required.
