This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Engineer (Civil/Structural) to step into a role with real responsibility, working alongside senior engineers and directors, and directly engaging with clients on a variety of mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver civil/structural design projects from feasibility through to completion.
* Carry out structural analysis and design to Eurocodes and other standards.
* Produce clear technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
* Attend and lead client and multidisciplinary project meetings.
* Undertake site inspections and oversee testing and commissioning activities.
* Mentor junior engineers and ensure high-quality outputs.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, CDM regulations, and quality standards.
* Act as CRE, CEM, or DPE/PE (where approved) on Network Rail or TOC projects.
What We're Looking For
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering (BEng/BSc, MEng, or HNC/HND with professional membership).
* Chartered or working towards Chartership (MICE/MIStructE).
* At least 3 years' experience in a consultancy environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of civil and structural design in rail, highways, or related sectors.
* Proficient in report writing, design software, AutoCAD/MicroStation; BIM experience advantageous.
* Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
* Flexible and willing to work occasional nights/weekends in a rail environment.
