We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us on a full-time basis, working 5 out of 7 days, from 6am to 2pm. The role is initially based at our Courteenhall, Northampton, but will move to our SDC Northampton site (NN7 2QA) from the end of July 2026. Some travel toour Milton Keynes site (Tilbrook, MK7 8BN) to support induction and onboarding will be required, with some additional visits later during the site migration. The Role As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of our Northampton warehouses. Specifically, you will perform a variety of tasks and general duties, including the operation of MHE to support operations, working with a strong focus on H&S. You will safely load and unload trailers, handling goods correctly to ensure minimal damage, complete any relevant paperwork, and utilise MHE and automation systems. Additionally, you will: - Adhere to all H&S procedures and utilise PPE - Complete equipment checks and any risk assessments - Seek ways to improve processes and drive efficiency - Communicate any concerns or issues to your team leader or manager About You To be considered as a Warehouse Operative, you will need: - Previous warehouse experience - An FLT, counterbalance, reach truck, or pallet stacker licence (A2) - Good levels of literacy and numeracy - Awareness of manual handling techniques - Teamworking skills - The ability to work to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail - A good level of general education, including a good understanding of both written and verbal English - A full, valid driving licence (some travel to our Milton Keynes site will be required) Please note, this role will involve manual handling and lifting items up to 20kg.
