Our International and Brussels Policy Practice The International and Brussels policy practices work with global healthcare companies and organisations to help them drive meaningful impact through their policy and public affairs programmes on both international and regional stages. Our work includes policy landscaping, policy and public affairs strategy and narrative development, policy research and report writing, policy engagement and advocacy coalition building and capability development for different policy teams. We also provide expert advice on global and EU health engagement and support the delivery of policy events and collaborations. LI-SB The Role We are seeking a senior global health policy expert and leader to work across our International and Brussels teams as a Director. This is an exciting role in a dynamic consultancy environment, working with a range of health industry clients to drive new collaborations in global health and engage key governments on issues such as climate and health, funding for NCDs including mental health, sustainability, and health equity.You will also play a key role in shaping EU health policy strategies, managing complex client programmes, and mentoring junior colleagues. What You’ll Be Doing Provide relevant policy intelligence and insights drawn from your external networks and deep policy understanding Lead and oversee complex client programmes in global and EU health policy and public affairs Advise clients on strategic positioning, policy opportunities, and stakeholder engagement Guide the strategic direction of client programmes drawing on your career experience and policy insights Manage client relationships and act as a trusted senior point of contact Oversee delivery of high-quality work and policy advice Coach, mentor, and manage junior team members with empathy and clarity Grow existing client programmes and identify new business opportunities Take a leading role in growing the international practice by bringing in new client programmes Represent the company externally with professionalism and credibility Contribute to company strategy and decision-making through the Senior Leadership Group Build relationships with other agencies in the Inizio Evoke group for joint client, marketing, and business development opportunities Lead and promote company workstreams, enabling inclusion and participation of colleagues in key areas of business operations About You 10 years’ experience in healthcare policy and public affairs (consultancy experience preferred) Strong expertise in global health institutions and EU institutional and policy environment Deep understanding of life sciences policy issues Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing people and projects Ability to think strategically while remaining delivery-oriented Strong writing and communication skills in English (other EU languages an asset) A collaborative mindset and commitment to inclusive, respectful team culture Benefits include: Generous annual leave Contributory company pension scheme Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Work where you work best (hybrid working policy) Various health and wellbeing benefits available Online training platform/programs Discretionary bonus scheme Community action focussed programs Cycle scheme Meal Vouchers (Brussels only) We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression.
