Mechanical Designer
Location: Broad Oak
Hourly Rate: £41.85 PAYE or £56.41 Umbrella
Contract Length: 6 months
Working Arrangement: Primarily remote, with onsite visits required when necessary.
Role Overview
BAE Systems is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer to support the development and documentation of engineering designs using advanced CAD tools.
Responsibilities
* Creation of 2D and 3D mechanical designs.
* Working with engineering teams to develop detailed CAD models.
* Managing design data through PDM systems.
* Supporting mechanical analysis including shock and vibration considerations.
Skills Required
* Strong CAD experience with 2D and 3D modelling.
* Experience using SAP PDM systems.
* Experience with Siemens NX (preferred).
* Understanding of shock and vibration engineering principles would be ideal.
