We are looking to appoint a Senior Family Support Worker with direct experience of carrying out assessment, planning and intervention with children and families. Our Children, Young People and Families team deliver whole family work and one2one work with children, young people and parents in a variety of settings including family homes, schools, youth and community settings. The key purpose of the role: • To hold and support families that are classified as getting more Early Help within the Bradford District Safeguarding Children Partnership Continuum of Need and Risk Identification Guidance • To engage children and families and carry out comprehensive assessment and planning using analysis which is led by the family. • To engage and work in partnership with other professionals involved with the children and families to deliver tailored intervention that makes a positive difference. • To understand and work within Early Help policies and procedures appropriate to children and families. • Using your experience and track record of achieving high levels of engagement with families presenting with complex needs, provide peer support, mentoring and development to Family Support Team assisting development. • To support the Team Manager to manage workflow including family allocations, discussions and assessment of safeguarding risk. • Support performance using information from Family Support Scorecard, key performance indicators and audits • Deputise in the absence of the Team Manager, attending meetings and supporting the team. About you Are you inspired by playing an important role in changing people’s lives? Do you have over 3 years experience of high quality delivery within a relevant area, where you have also provided support to colleagues and a minimum L3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent?
