Opportunity: Area Sales Executive
Join our industry-leading client in the hire sector, covering the Falkirk area. This role offers a competitive salary plus a bonus scheme of up to 40% of your basic salary. Ideal for candidates with sales experience in construction or hire equipment seeking a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maximise revenue through cross-selling to existing customers.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, introducing new customers to our client.
3. Manage a customer portfolio to ensure revenue growth and account satisfaction.
4. Support major accounts via regular visibility and relationship building.
5. Pre-qualify potential customers' ability to pay in collaboration with credit control.
6. Prepare and submit proposals and quotations based on customer payment capacity.
7. Review customer spend regularly and adjust rates accordingly.
8. Establish a broad contact base including key contacts.
9. Submit detailed reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
10. Maintain regular contact with customers, prioritising effectively.
11. Stimulate activity with non-spending customers or down traders.
12. Convey customer site leads and market knowledge to relevant teams.
13. Attend and report at regional sales meetings.
14. Liaise daily with operational teams across divisions.
