The Role
As a Vehicle Paint Technician at our Edinburgh site, you'll work on a wide range of vehicles—including electric and hybrid models—delivering high-quality finishes that meet rigorous industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
14. Preparing vehicles through washing, sanding, and masking
15. Mixing and colour-matching paint accurately
16. Applying paint coatings using spray guns and operating spray booths
17. Conducting quality checks on finished work to ensure exceptional standards
18. Working collaboratively with workshop colleagues to meet repair deadlines
19. Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
About You
We’re looking for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for top-quality craftsmanship.
You will bring:
20. Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint or Prep Technician
21. Expertise in modern painting techniques and materials
22. Confidence using paint mixing systems and spray equipment
23. A strong background in accident repair processes
24. Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
25. Good communication and teamwork skills
26. ATA/SVQ qualifications (preferred; support available for renewal)
